Abstract
PreviewISO 17458-1:2013 gives an overview of the structure and the partitioning of ISO 17458 and shows the relation between the different parts. In addition, it outlines the use case scenarios where the ISO 17458 series will be used. The terminology defined in ISO 17458-1:2013 is common for all FlexRay communication systems and is used throughout all parts of ISO 17458.
